Light-transmitting fabrics are fabrics that allow a high transmission of light and at the same time generate a high proportion of scattered light. The light scattering can be additionally influenced by the weaving structure of the fabric and the coating technology. Fluoropolymer fabrics and fluoropolymer coatings naturally allow an above-average light transmission and are therefore often referred to as light-transmitting fabrics.
