Ribbons, Tubes, Cut tubes

The filter component retains large particles which might be present in the transfusion solutions or which may originate from the transfusion bags.

Fabrics can be heat or ultrasonically slit.

Ribbons width ranges from:

7 mm to 2400 mm (heat-slit) or

4 mm to 350 mm (US-slit)

Tubes, cut to length

Tube segments can be cold- or laser-cut having the following dimensions:

Cold-cut: Ø 7 – 140 mm,
Length: 5 – 1000 mm

Laser-cut: Ø 7 – 80 mm,
Length: 5 – 1000 mm

Tubes, rolls

Fabrics, single or multilayer, can be heat-slit (transport seam only) or ultrasonically welded into tube configurations.

Cold-cut: Ø 7 – 140 mm, Length: 5 – 1000 mm

Laser-cut: Ø 7 – 80 mm, Length: 5 – 1000 mm

Safe blood transfusion

Millions of transfusions and auto-transfusions are performed safely every year. Transfusion sets are life-saving devices that prevent blood clots, embolism, and particles from entering the patient’s bloodstream.

The high throughput rates and precise mesh openings of Sefar filter fabrics contribute to the excellent reliability and performance of transfusion sets.
